Types of Fraud
Jubilee staff and representatives are bound by the NO CASH policy. Payments to Jubilee should be made to the approved M-Pesa paybill numbers and bank accounts. No monies are to be paid to Agents, Staff or any other representatives.
Tip - Refrain from remitting premium payments to individual accounts. Allegations of system downtime and or M-Pesa paybill downtime should be verified through the contact information on the Jubilee website.
This is the mismatch of the policy holder’s needs against the issued policy.
Tip – Jubilee issues a policy document detailing the policy’s details, including benefits. In case of uncertainty or discrepancy between the need communicated to the Jubilee representative and the policy details, kindly contact Jubilee through the contact information on the website. Always ensure you obtain a copy of your policy document.
An individual purporting to be a Jubilee staff/representative contacts you, on call, email and/or SMS, about your policy. They inquire and ask for Personally Identifiable Information such as phone number, email, ID number, Bank account details, KRA PIN number among other details. Sometimes they know some of your information which they use to gain your trust. These efforts are deliberate to access and steal your information and identity.
Tip – Verify that the call, email or SMS’ is originating from Jubilee representatives. Verify against the contact information on the Jubilee website. Calls relating to your policy in Jubilee will originate from phone number 0709949000.
Routinely review the statements and itemized bills relating to your policy. In case you identify entries and charges unknown to you, kindly reach out to Jubilee through the contact information on the website.
Jubilee does not charge a fee for provision/access to its services, including claim processing, policy issuance, recruitment, procurement among others. In case of such demands, kindly escalate through the reporting channels.
